Police officers are investigating an incident in which a victim was assaulted at Hull Paragon Interchange.

They have now released CCTV images in connection with the incident, which occurred just before midday on Tuesday, 21 December.

The victim was sitting in the station’s waiting room when a man approached and tried to befriend her. He then attempted to snatch her bag, pulling so hard that its handle ripped.

The victim suffered two broken fingers in the incident.

British Transport Police officers are investigating the incident and believe the man in these images may have information that could help their investigation.

Hull Paragon Interchange integrates rail, bus, and coach services and is located in the city centre of Kingston upon Hull. The interchange is named after Paragon railway station, which together with the adjoining Station Hotel, opened in 1847 as the new Hull terminus for the growing traffic of the York and North Midland Railway.
