In the wake of the present pandemic situation, Kolkata Metro Railway has taken several initiatives to make commuters aware about the importance of the use of mask in station premises and trains.
Posters and banners are being displayed at all Metro stations and frequent announcements are being made through Public Address System requesting passengers to wear mask properly, sanitize their hands at a regular interval and maintain Social Distancing in Metro premises.
Metro RPF and other station staff have been conducting ‘No Mask -No Metro’ campaign at Metro platforms and also in running Metros. They are requesting all Metro commuters to wear a mask and co-operate with Metro Authority to fight against the spread of COVID-19 virus. Commuters are appreciating this campaign taken up by the Metro.
