STB Chairman Martin J. Oberman has designated William Brennan, Director of the Office of Economics, as Chief Economist. Prior to 1999, Brennan served as an economist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture, specializing in railroad issues, and worked for the Association of American Railroads (AAR).
