With visiting steam locomotive, Kitson Works built No.5459 “Austin 1” 0-6-0ST, hauling passenger trains along the line, the Somerset and Dorset Railway – at Midsomer Norton is holding a day to celebrate any Austin vehicles, such as cars, at their railway.
Around 10.30 am cars will be on display ready for viewing, with the first trains departing at 11 am. Treat yourself to scones and cream with ‘Cream teas’ from the buffet coach, a bargain at only £6 per person.
