The Bluebell Railway has announced that they will be welcoming GWR Hall No. 6989 Wightwick Hall next month as part of their Model Railway Weekend.
6989 Wightwick Hall visits the Bluebell Railway thanks to the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre.
The Model Railway Weekend, taking place on the 2nd and 3rd July will feature a number of layouts, covering N gauge to Gauge.
A number of trade stands and normal Bluebell Railway attractions also form part of the weekend’s events.
GWR Hall 6989 Wightwick Hall first entered service in 1948, working as part of the then newly-formed British Railways. The locomotive worked on the Western Region until it was withdrawn in 1964.
