On the freight only line between Port Adelaide and Outer Harbour was a small yard at Osborne adjacent to the Penrice Soda Products plant. It was also used as a run around and marshalling point for trip freights serving local sidings in the area.
On Saturday morning 7 December 1991, Australian National's DL531 874 is entering the yard with loaded oil tankers from Alice Springs to discharge at a siding to the north of the yard.
On the adjacent track DL500Bs 963/961 wait to depart with the daily combined empty stone/cement train for the Barossa Valley.
The Alcos, the yard, the oil sidings, have all long gone, although a through track remains to serve siding at Outer Harbour.
