The first six of 37 Alco broad gauge DL500Bs built for the South Australian Railways were single-ended units, while the remainder also had a cab at the B 'flat' end.
The last two single-enders 934/931 head the Sunday afternoon Mt Gambier goods #1745 up the grade towards Eden Hills, South Australia. The date is a bit of a guess - 934 was withdrawn in January 93 and 931 a few months later - but going by the shadows I'm thinking September 1992
