I did well this particular afternoon. This is the fourth shot I've posted of this train, and I think I've found another one or two I've yet to scan.
Australian National ALCo DL500Bs 963/957 climb out of the dip at Sandy Creek with the loaded stone train from Penrice quarry in mid-1991.
Despite the excellent chase I never made a note of the actual date, but the low light and lush greenery suggest it’s around July or August.
(The classic ALCo smoke has Flickr's auto tag thinking this is a steam engine!)
