Quad ALCo 'World' units wind their way through the Adelaide Hills near Ballarat with train no.1590 from Melbourne to Adelaide on Saturday 4 April 1987.
37 930 class locos were built in Australia by A E Goodwin for the South Australian Railway with ownership passing to Australian National in 1978.
The first six units were delivered as single enders while the remainder also had a drivers cab at the B end; the fourth unit in this lash up 931 is one of the original six.
